SharpShine® is formulated, filled and quality-tested by Ocean Goods®, our manufacturing company, at the Abu Rawash plant in Giza, Egypt. That is why we can answer a distributor’s questions about formulation, packing and batch consistency ourselves.

How SharpShine® started
A bold vision, and a chemist’s question
SharpShine® began as a vision of Eng. Mohamed Tohamy, founder of Ocean Goods®: redefine automotive care through innovation and science rather than through packaging. The starting question was practical — why should a detailer in Egypt settle for imported formulas that were never designed for the conditions he actually works in?
It started as a small-scale idea in Egypt — not as a trading company.

Who runs it
An engineer’s company
SharpShine® was founded by Eng. Mohamed Tohamy, who also founded Ocean Goods®, the manufacturing company behind the products. The two businesses share ownership, a plant and a quality system — so a question about a formulation, a pack size or a batch does not travel through a third party before it is answered.
